CORTA, located in Columbus, Georgia, was originally founded in 1952. Our mission is "to promote and develop the growth of tennis." This non-profit organization has a current membership of over 2,300 and is located at Cooper Creek Tennis Center, the nation's largest public clay court facility.

Home School Tennis

Tennis 101
Current class is full. September 10 - October 15. New session forming now! November 7 - December 19th. Click through to register.
Tennis 102
Current class is full. September 12 - October 3. September 12 class is cancelled due to rain. The make up will be October 10. New class forming November 26 - December 17. Click through to register.
Morning Scramble
Come play the Morning Scramble! Registration for the Morning Scramble is open. Play will be Thursday mornings from 9:30am - 11:30am starting November 1. Format will be scramble play and initial placement determined by your NTRP level.
Pop Tennis
CORTA is piloting Pop Tennis. A free kick-off is scheduled for Thursday, Sept 13. Sign up for the free pilot and 6 week scramble by Tuesday, September 18, 2018. The 6 week fee is $26.56 and drop in for $5.00. Click through to register online.
Cardio Tennis
It is not to late to get in Cardio class! We were rained out Sept 4. We will start this class September 11,18. Make ups scheduled for September 25 and Oct 2.
Intermediate Clinic
CORTA's Adult Intermediate Clinic is for ladies and gentlemen 3.0, 3.5, and 4.0 levels. The class includes four weeks of drills and match play designed to improve your game. Meet at court 37. Classes for October available. Click for details.
USTA Adult 18 and Over League
Registration for Fall 18 and Over league is now open. The League Captain's Mtg/Ball Pickup will be held in the Ezell Hospitality Room Thursday August 30th at the new CORTA office. Ball pickup will be prior to captains' meeting which begins at 6:30p.m.
Academy - Red Ball / Pre CATS / CATS
Get ready to up your game to a new level. Come join an Academy and become a "RED HOT" SUPERSTAR!! or one of the Cooper Creek CATS: Courageous Athletic Tennis Stars!!
TennisWorks in the Parks
TennisWorks in the Parks will begin the fall session on Monday, September 24th at 6PM at Cooper Creek Tennis Center. This is a diverse outreach tennis program for children(ages 5-18) offered during the spring, summer and fall seasons.
"Ad In" Tennis
The Fall Ad In Tennis Program will begin on Thursday, September 13th. Looking forward to a great season of tennis!
CORTA School Junior Team Tennis
Fall Junior Team Tennis begins September 24th. This season, there will be boys teams and girls teams. Matches will consist of two singles matches and one doubles match. Captains meeting is Wednesday, September 19th at 6:00 in the CORTA Hospitality Room.
