CONTACT INFORMATION
Tournament directors do not have access to phone numbers and email addresses of the tournament participants UNLESS the player re-enters their contact information at the time of the event registration. This means that if a player does not enter their phone number and email information each time they register for a tournament, the tournament director will not be able to contact them for any reason, including withdrawals, defaults, etc. Your cooperation will ensure that the tournament directors can continue to communicate necessary information to all of the tournament players.

Facebook Doubles Page

We will be using Facebook to help you find a doubles partner. If you have a Facebook account, you can join the group and post messages for others that are playing in the tournament. If you need a double's partner, post your information on the group home page and see who else needs a partner for the tournament. Please note that we will not pair players or make teams. All players are responsible for finding their own partner.  Please note that doubles registration will not open until Tuesday March 22. We will be using a seperate tournament homepage for Doubles registration.

As the host hotel for our event, Hyatt Place will be providing a meeting room and snacks for our Player's Reception and Check-in which will be Friday, April 1 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM.

BIRTH CERTIFICATES/PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP
All players must have a Birth Certificate on file in the Southern office for proof of US Citizenship. Green cards will be accepted, but passports will not. A file of those with proof on file is posted below.

PLAYING SITE
Cooper Creek Tennis Center
is located at 4816 Milgen Road Columbus, Georgia 31909 Cooper Creek Tennis Center is a public facility with a two-story clubhouse overlooking 30 newly resurfaced clay courts. There are walking and bike paths on site.

Directions to Cooper Creek Tennis Center from I-185: Take I-185 S to Exit 7 (Manchester Expressway). Turn east onto Manchester Expressway. Travel approximately 2 miles to the Warm Springs Road Connector. Travel up the exit ramp and turn right. The entrance to Cooper Creek Park is directly ahead. The clubhouse is a two-story building located on the right as you enter the park. Tournament check-in desk will be on the left side of the road at the annex building.

Country Club of Columbus
is located at 2610 Cherokee Avenue Columbus, Georgia 31906 706 323 9116 The Country Club of Columbus has eleven courts, ten clay and one all weather court.

Directions to Country Club of Columbus from Cooper Creek Tennis Center: Take a left at the light on Milgen Road. Travel approximately 3.5 miles. At the sixth traffic light turn left. (Hilton Avenue to the left/Woodruff Road to the right.) Cross the railroad tracks and turn right on Camille Drive(this street merges with Cherokee Avenue) The Country Club will be about 1 mile on your left. (Note: Milgen Road changes names. Milgen Road=Gentian Boulevard=Warm Springs Road)

INCLEMENT WEATHER BACK UP PLAN
We have no indoor courts that may be used in case of inclement weather.

RACQUET STRINGING
There will be racquet stringing available at Cross Court Sports and Bob Dow's Tennis Shop. Both pro shops are located within walking distance of Cooper Creek Park. Call about Sunday stringing options.

SCHEDULE OF PLAY

FORMAT

64 Draw per age division, Full-feed in through the QF

Scoring: Singles main draw will be the best of three tie-break sets

Singles consolation will be two out of three sets with a 10 point match tie-break being played in lieu of third set

Doubles will play 8 game pro-set with a match tiebreak played at 8-all

ENTRY

Entry will be based on selection criteria of up to 56 from the age group of the event and up to 8 from the lower age group who did not get in the first 56, and who are in the top 80 of the Southern standings at the time of selection.

SIGNING UP FOR 2 DIVISIONS
Players are allowed to enter two divisions with these guidelines:

1. Players selected to both age divisions they apply for, will automatically be selected to the older age division. They will be removed from the other age division.

2. Players not selected to either division will remain on the alternate's list for both divisions but would be obligated to play the division they first get in, from the alternate list. They will be removed from the alternate list in the other division.

3. Players selected to one age division will be removed from the alternates list of the division they were not selected.

4. Once a player is selected for any one division no changes can be made.
