USTA Middle School Junior Team Tennis
Middle School Jr. Team Tennis
Play tennis for your school! This is a after school tennis league for beginners, intermediates, and advanced middle school students ages 10-14 or grades 5 - 8. This is a non age eligible season, which does not advance to the state championships. Players are required to be age eligible through November 30, 2012.
You must have a USTA Junior membership to play USTA Jr. Team Tennis. This membership is $20 a year. You will receive a "Smash" magazine and be able to play in other USTA Team Tennis leagues or tournaments for one year.

To play for your school you must have a team number (given to you by your team captain) and a USTA membership number. The cost is $30.00 to play in the Middle School Jr. Team Tennis league. This includes your TennisLink fee, court fees, balls, awards and an end of the season party.

- August 29 - Packets will be e-mailed to all Middle Schools
- September 4- Practices begin
- September 21 - Initial rosters submitted to TennisLink
- September 27 - Mandatory meeting of all coaches/captains at Columbus Library - 4:30 pm
- October 3 - Matches begin
- November 16 - (Tentative) End of season pizza party and awards
