CORTA Jr. Championships

This tournament is a Georgia Level 4 Championship Tournament and is open to all players regardless of ranking.

Tournament dates:  Friday - Sunday, August 24-26, 2012
Deadline to register:   Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at 11:59 PM (Eastern Standard Time)
Location:  Cooper Creek Tennis Center
Divisions:   Boys & Girls 18-10 Singles; Boys & Girls 18-10 Doubles
Entry Fee:  $38.13 per player for 1 Event; $41.00 per player for 2 Events                         

Boys/Girls 10 & Under divisions will be played on a 60-ft court with a 25" racket, and will use low compression balls.
Boys/Girls 12 & Under divisions will use stage 1 green/green dot balls on a 78' court.

Draws:   Singles limited to 16 draw and Doubles limited to 8 draw.

Match Times: Matches during the school year may not begin before 5:00 PM on Friday and must be completed by Sunday. 

Scoring Format for 12U - 18U Singles: Two out of three sets with a 10 point match tiebreak being played in lieu of a 3rd set.
Scoring Format for 10 & Under Singles:  2 short sets (4-game deuce sets with a "set" tiebreak played at 4-games all) and "Match" tiebreak played in lieu of a third set.

Scoring Format for Doubles: 8 game pro set with a "Match" tiebreak (10 points tiebreak) being played at 8-8.

Singles will be a FIC and doubles will be single elimination.

Playing Site:  Cooper Creek Tennis Center 

Tournament Check-in Procedure:  Please check-in at least 30 minutes before your first match and 15 minutes prior to every other match throughout the tournament.  The check-in desk is located at the Annex on the left side of the street at Cooper Creek Tennis Center.

T-shirts will be provided for all participants.  Winner and finalist awards will be given for all main draw divisions.
