“RED HOT” Tennis for Kids (Ages 5 – 8)

CORTA is committed to creating a positive, welcoming and fun environment for our 10U youth who are just starting tennis.  In this class, the students will focus on hand/eye coordination, footwork, and ball control associated with tennis.  Students will use the “RED-HOT” foam ball on a 36’ court which will keep them engaged.  Along with skills, the kids will work on sportsmanship and character building skills. Fee includes 1 year USTA Jr. membership.

Recommended: At least two classes

“BEGINNING the JOURNEY”  (Ages 9 – 18)

This beginner clinic involves all aspects of the game including stroke technique, footwork, and scoring for the student as they begin their journey to learn the game of tennis.  Ages 9-10’s will be on a 60’ court using low compression balls.  Ages 11 and up lessons will be conducted on a standard court using regular balls.  The ultimate goal is to learn the basics and prepare the player for match play.  This program is the best way for players to prepare for the Pre-CATS Academy level and Beginner levels of Jr. Team Tennis.
