CORTA Tri-Level "Day of Tennis" Qualifying Tournament

A qualifying event for the 2014 USTA Georgia Tri-Level League State Championships

Tournament dates: July 19-20, 2014

Entry Fee: $30.00 per player

Format: Round Robin.  Guaranteed at minimum of 3 team matches.
             Match consist of 3 individual doubles matches with the highest NTRP level playing line #1 and the lowest NTRP level   playing line #3.

Match Schedule:   18 & Over - Saturday, July 19
                              40 & Over - Sunday, July 20
                              55 & Over - Saturday, July 19

Scoring Format: Based on number of entries per level.

Team Requirements: Minimum of 6 players per team; 2 players per NTRP level; may have additional players at each level.

Player Requirements: A player may play one level (0.5) higher than their rating and at least one player per doubles team must be playing at the level for the court; must be 18 years or older; must have current USTA membership.


Player Participation: A player may play on multiple teams as long as they are in different divisions. 
Example: A 3.5 player can play on an 18 & Over Division 2.5/3.0/3.5 and and 18 & Over Division 3.0/3.5/4.0 and 40 & Over Division 3.0/3.5/4.0. Players who qualify for advancement to USTA Georgia State Championships will be eligible to represent one 18 & Over and one 40 & Over team, or one 40 & Over and one 55 & Over team. There will be no concessions made for scheduling.

atings: Tri-Level results will not have any effect on player NTRP rarings.

USTA Georgia State Championships will be held 
August 22-24, 2014 in LaGrange, GA.
Entry
 Fee: $30/per player
Based on results, berths will be awarded as follows:

Division # Matches needed to qualify for state championship
18 & Over Must play in 1 team match;
defaulted match shall count for player receiving default;
retired match shall count for all player involved

defaulted match shall count for player receiving default; 
retired match shall count for all player involved.
If no local competition; team may advance to state competition
   
55 & Over Must play in 1 team match;
defaulted match shall count for player receiving default; 
retired match shall count for all player involved.
If no local competition; team may advance to state competition
