Summer Tennis for Intermediate and Advanced Players
This summer, CORTA is conducting classes throughout June and July for intermediate and advancing players.
The Intermediate class, Movin’ Foreward, will focus on the consistency of the forehand, backhand, volley and serve. There will be emphasis placed on movement, scoring and the format of the game. Players will move up the Academy when the instructor acknowledges they are ready to advance.
The Advancing class, Academy, works on the strokes of the game. It also works on footwork, match strategy and constructing points. This class works to try to prepare players for tournaments and league tennis.

Program Information and Policies:
- Meet at the CORTA Clubhouse, by courts 31-33.
- Payment must be made before the start of the first class.
- NO PRO-RATED PROGRAMS!
- Wear tennis shoes and comfortable clothing.
- Water bottle filling stations and vending machines are available; however, you may wish to bring your own water or sports drink.
- In the event of rain, if the class is cancelled, you will be contacted via email at least one hour before the scheduled class time.
- If we have a rain out class, it will be made up by adding a class on the following Friday.
