Spring Junior Team Tennis
Important Information When Forming Teams: 2019
Beginner level players must be rated 2.4 and below and must not have more than 180 tournament points in any age group on the posted Georgia standing list as of the end of July 2018 (see search list below). Point totals shall include both singles and doubles divisions from which points were acquired. Points earned due to defaults will not be considered and may be deducted if noted in writing to the State Junior Team Tennis Coordinator at time of State Championship registration. Also, players who have previously competed at the beginner level at the Junior Team Tennis State Championships cannot play again at the beginner level in the same age division.
Example: If a player played at 10U Beginner at State in 2018, he/she can not play 10U Beginner in 2019.
USTA Georgia Points Search – These players have more than 180 tournament points and are NOT ELIGIBLE to play Beginner level Junior Team Tennis.
Each team must have at least 6 players, preferable 8 players.
Each player must be a USTA member to register for USTA Jr. Team Tennis and is responsible for their USTA membership. You can acquire a membership at USTA.com or call 1-800-990-8782.
