Playing Site Information
All matches will be held at Cooper Creek Tennis Center, located at 5050 Cooper Creek Parkway, Columbus, GA 31907. This public facility boasts 39 Rubico courts and a two-story clubhouse with views of the courts. Cooper Creek has earned the prestigious “Outstanding Tennis Facility” award from the USTA in 1996, 2001, and 2016, and is considered one of the finest public tennis facilities in the United States.

Directions:
Take I-185 to Exit 7 (Manchester Expressway). Turn east onto Manchester Expressway and travel approximately 2 miles. At the Warm Springs Road Connector, take the exit ramp and turn right. The entrance to Cooper Creek Park will be directly ahead.

Player Check-In:
Check-in will be at the CORTA/CSU Clubhouse, the two-story building located on the left as you enter the park.

Tournament Details
Events: Players may compete in one singles and one doubles event.
For example:

• 60+ singles and 60+ doubles
• Or you may choose two different age divisions, such as 55 singles and 60 doubles, etc.

Note: Playing in two divisions may require back-to-back matches.

Scoring Format:

• Singles Main Draw: Best of 3 full tie-break sets.Voluntary Consolation: If you lose your first match, you may sign up to play in the consolation event. Consolation matches will be played in the morning.
• Singles Consolation: 2 full sets with a 10-point tie-break in place of the 3rd set.
• Doubles: 2 full sets with a 10-point tie-break in place of the 3rd set.Voluntary Consolation: If you lose your first match, you may sign up for a consolation doubles match. Doubles matches will take place in the afternoon.
• Doubles Consolation: 2 full sets with a 10-point tie-break in place of the 3rd set.

Doubles Partner Requests:
If you are registered and seeking a doubles partner, you can send a request through the Serve Tennis Platform. After registration closes, if you do not have a partner, the tournament director will attempt to pair you with another unpaired player.

Age Group Start Dates:
Start dates for each age group will depend on the size of the draw.

• The following SINGLES divisions will begin play on Wednesday afternoon: 65s, 70s, 75s, 85s
• The 55 singles will begin play on Friday
• The 60 singles will begin play on Thursday
• The 80 singles will begin play on Thursday
• All Doubles will begin play on Friday afternoon.

Player Selection:
Players will be manually selected by the tournament director after the close of registration.

Seeding:
Seeding will be conducted according to the recommendations of the SS National Board and expert guidelines.

Player Amenities:

• Ice, bananas, and hospitality snacks will be available throughout the tournament.
• Player Dinner: Details to be announced.
• Lunch: Details to be announced.
• Stringing services will be available on-site or can be arranged by contacting the tournament director.
• Trainers will be provided at the event.
