Advantage Fitness - Tennis Conditioning

Studies indicate being fit reduces your chances of injury in competition. Advantage Fitness – Conditioning for Tennis is designed to reduce injury in competition by improving your agility, power, speed and dynamic stability & endurance specifically as a tennis player. A beginner and advanced level class will be offered. This program is taught by a Giorgia Vitale, Giorgia is a former Columbus State University tennis player. Giorgia also is in the process of obtaining her Masters in Kinesiology.

Six week program – 75.00 ($4.69 Active.com processing fee)

We will have two groups – one at the beginner level and one at the advanced level. The main difference between the two will be the intensity and the difficulty of the exercises.  The advance group would already have an idea on how to properly move in the tennis court and to already possess some type of speed, agility and coordination with their feet.

Beginners will be challenged to properly move in the tennis court and largely improve the the major movements (sideways, forward) with higher speed, agility, etc. The choice of choosing one group or another will be very individual. It will depend on what opinion you have about your own level of fitness and footwork.
