Ad In Clinic
CORTA has a mission to provide a meaningful tennis experience to children with intellectual disabilities and physical handicaps. Our “Ad-In” tennis program offers an introduction to tennis as well as training and competition to children with intellectual difficulties and physical handicaps. We have a purpose of introducing tennis to all people as a means of healthy recreation and a life long sport.
Our intentions are to “add in” our special populations athletes to our tennis community. Tennis can build confidence and self-esteem and teach good sportsmanship. “Ad-In” signifies winning and we aspire to use tennis to make all these players winners!
This program is lead by trained and qualified coaches. Volunteers that have a passion for serving others and a love of the game of tennis are involved in this program. We always need volunteers as on court helpers. Tennis teams, school groups, families, and individuals are all encouraged to get involved. Your knowledge or skill level is a non-issue. Your involvement and desire to give of yourself to help us “add in” these special athletes is far more valuable. If you would enjoy the experience of making a huge difference in the lives of these special athletes while enriching your own life, please contact Edna Foster at 706-317-4136 or firstname.lastname@example.org
