USTA Tri-Level Tennis (18/40/55 & Over)
Tri-Level Tennis is a USTA format designed to provide a unique team opportunity to members by combining players of differing NTRP levels on teams in local, state, and sectional competition. It is a way to team up with friends who play at different NTRP levels. A team match consists of three doubles matches played at three different NTRP levels (for example 3.0,3.5,4.0). The same level teams will play against one another with the highest NTRP level playing line #1 and the lowest NTRP level playing line #3.
Rule for advancing to USTA Georgia State Championship:
A player may play on multiple teams as long as they are in different divisions.
Example: A 3.5 player can play on an 18 & Over Division 2.5/3.0/3.5 and and 18 & Over Division 3.0/3.5/4.0 and 40 & Over Division 3.0/3.5/4.0. Players may advance on 2 (two) 18 & Over teams and 2 (two) 40 & Over teams, but at different levels. There will be no concessions made for scheduling.
As per CORTA policy, there is no evening travel to out of town facilities. The number of matches scheduled for each team will be determined by the number of teams registered at their level. See scheduling chart for two weekend season.
