USTA Tri-Level Tennis (18/40/55 & Over)
Tri-Level Tennis is a USTA format designed to provide a unique team league opportunity to members by combining players of differing NTRP levels on teams in local, state, and sectional competition. A way to team up with friends who play at different NTRP levels. Three levels of players are all on the same team. Same level teams play against one another. A team match consists of three doubles matches played at three different levels. Match consists of 3 individual doubles matches with the highest NTRP level playing line #1 and the lowest NTRP level playing line #3.
Registration beings on TennisLink:
Saturdays, Sundays, Monday and Wednesdays (40 and over) beginning April 13th – May 18th
Teams are guaranteed at least 5 matches (depends on number of teams registered)
August 2-4, 2019 in LaGrange, GA
Rule change for advancing to USTA Georgia State Championship:
A player may play on multiple teams as long as they are in different divisions.
Example: A 3.5 player can play on an 18 & Over Division 2.5/3.0/3.5 and and 18 & Over Division 3.0/3.5/4.0 and 40 & Over Division 3.0/3.5/4.0. Players may advance on 2 (two) 18 & Over teams and 2 (two) 40 & Over teams, but at different levels. There will be no concessions made for scheduling.
