JUNIORS

School Team Tennis League

This is an after-school tennis league for beginners, intermediate, and advanced elementary and middle school students ages 8-14 and grades 3rd – 8th. This is an age eligible league which cannot advance to the state championships. Players must be in the correct age and ability level through November. The teams consist of boys teams and girls teams. Teams need to have at least 4 boys or 4 girls to form a team. It is recommended that each team have 5 or 6 players. Matches will consist of 2 singles matches and 1 double matches. There will be no playing twice.

Divisions:
10U Beginner, Intermediate, & Advanced
12U Beginner, Intermediate, & Advanced
14U Beginner, Intermediate, & Advanced

To be a part of the Fall Team Tennis, all players must join the USTA.

Any school that forms a team that has 6 or more NEW USTA members and players will receive a $100 incentive check from USTA Georgia.  Checks will be issued to the school to be used to purchase tennis supplies or equipment!

September 25 – October 30, 2023
Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and/or Thursdays
4:30 pm – 6:00 pm

Fees:

$35 (includes league fee, court fees, and balls)
Before registering, players will need their USTA number and team number from their Captain.

Captain’s Meeting:

Thursday, September 21, 2023. Come by to pickup balls and to get Captain’s packet. Zoom meeting at 7:00 pm.

If you are going to be a Fall School Team Tennis Captain this season, there are 2 things that you must complete (1) USTA Safe Play Process;  (2) National Background Screening.
