Junior Instructional Clinics
CORTA offers clinics to kids ages 5-17 who would like to learn the basic fundamentals of tennis. All clinics are done in a group setting and separated by age group.
- Ages 5-17. This clinic introduces the fundamentals of tennis: forehand, backhand, volley, and serve. This class incorporates drills and games that develop hand-eye coordination and proper tennis technique. The clinic’s overall goal is to have fun and develop an early interest in tennis.
- Ages 8-17. This clinic involves all aspects of the game including stroke technique, footwork, and the parts of a tennis court as the student begins their journey to learn the game of tennis.
- Ages 11-17. This clinic is for players who are competing on their schools tennis team or play in Junior Team Tennis, USTA Junior Circuits, and participate in sanctioned tournaments.
